It was very hot yesterday afternoon. Thirsty Peanut ran to the drinking pool and lapped and lapped and lapped! Then he stopped! He had swallowed a big bug!

"Plewy, plewy, plewy, p-p-p-plewy!" he spit. "I just swallowed something big and hairy and wiggly" Peanut said.

"Peanut, you should always 'Look before you lap!'" I said. He looked so funny trying to spit and talk at the same time. "Did it taste good?" I asked.

Peanut didn't answer.

We went to the barn to check on the special bulldogs. The air conditioner was keeping their rooms cool and everyone was taking an afternoon nap.

Peanut was still hot and panting. His tongue was sticking waaay out!

"Peanut," I said. "Since you like to eat bugs and you have such a long tongue, maybe you aren't a bulldog, maybe you are a BULL FROG!"
