It's morning and Peanut ran outside to check on the weather... He loves to run through the grass when it is wet with dew. I think he's a fish because he loves water. Peanut checked on the fish (and tasted their water, too). Then he ran into my melon patch!

I am a lazy gardner. Last spring, I spread out some black plastic and cut some holes in it. Judy had bought a packet of seeds so I put 4 seeds in each hole, covered them up and watered them. Peanut did not help me then but now he was biting a little watermelon!

"Peanut! Get out of my melon patch!" I yelled.

"Those are Sugar Baby watermelons... They may look like rubber balls but they are not -- And they are good to eat when they are ripe!"

Peanut just looked at me cross-eyed and said quietly, "Yuch..."

"What did you say, Peanut?"

"I just burped", he said and ran to get a drink of water.
