This is the story of
Peanut Singing in the Rain!
All the puppies and special bulldogs got up early and went outside to go potty.
-- Peanut, Sugar Cookie, the Cowboy, the Count, the Jazzman, King Bizkit,
Kate, Sweet Tater Pie, and JEB!
It was six o'clock in the morning and the sun was supposed to be up.
But, it was DARK!
And then the rain drops started...
The thunderstorm came to our house again!
All the puppies, all of the other bulldogs and I ran back inside!
Everybody got a little wet except Peanut... Peanut got a LOT wet!
After the storm, the sun came out so Peanut went back out to the garden.
He likes to sit in my lap just like he did when he was a little puppy.
But now he weighs as much as a big bag of dog food!
How would you like to have a bag of dog food jump into your lap?
"Peanut. How do you feel?" I asked.
Peanut is just getting over bronchitis.
"Your nose isn't running anymore but, I heard you coughing. We should go inside now."

Peanut said, "I feel fine! Let me stay outside, please..."
He looked around and noticed that I had moved the 'Frog Fountain'.
"What's that?"
"That's a Frog Band! Can't you hear them playing???" I asked.
"Yes, I can. Can you?" he looked at me with a grin...
"Let's sing!"
I knew he was fooling but I sang with him.
"Oh, oh, ooooo, ooooo, yow, yow!"
Pretty soon, ALL of the bulldogs started singing with us!
We were so LOUD, the neighbor dogs started singing, too!
Or maybe they were howling for us to stop -- I don't know...
