Peanut and his sister, Sugar Cookie, went out walking today. They were NOT looking for trouble... but, after all, they are English bulldog puppies and usually, trouble looks for them!

Peanut spotted a big mud puddle. He hollered for the other puppies to come and play. "Cowboy! Cowboy! Count! Count!", Peanut yelled. "See what I have found!"

The two brothers, Cowboy and Count, came running. Peanut didn't wait for the others. "Cannonball!" he shouted and jumped into the water splashing poor Sugar right in the face!

"Stop pushing! This is my spot!" Peanut said. "Move over!"

The Count is the littlest and was afraid of getting wet. The other three thought that the water was cool!

It was time for their afternoon nap. All the puppies except Peanut came back into the house and into their beds just like good little puppies. But not Peanut!

I called him again. No answer! When I went to the puddle, I couldn't see Peanut!

All I saw was a big MUD PUPPY!
