Peanut Butter Cookie, the BIG, little English bulldog puppy looked up at me and said, "We are tired of playing Puppy Tail Tag! Give us a new game! Please!"

"Okay, Peanut...", I said trying to think of a game that we liked when I was growing up. "This is the new game. It's called 'Kick the Can'! First choose someone to be 'it' -- Sweet T. Pie can be 'it'. Start by standing a can by the home base. The one that is 'it' hides her eyes in the grass and everybody else runs and hides. Then Sweety will try to find you. If she spies you, you run to the can as fast as you can. If Sweety gets there first, you are in 'jail'! If you get there first, Kick the Can! and everybody runs and hides again!"

The Cowboy, Count, Sugar Cookie and Peanut ran and hid when Sweet T. Pie turned her back. She turned around and saw Peanut and just before she could run over to home base, Peanut dashed over to the can!

"This is fun!" Peanut said. "Let's do it again!"

But the game couldn't begin again -- Sugar grabbed the can and took off running. Peanut chased her and chased her.

I think we'll have a new game called can tag...
