"Do you want to go out and play with me?", Peanut asked Cleo. Peanut Butter Cookie and Sugar Cookie, his sister, had been playing nicely with Cleopatra and Hamlet. Then Hamlet started picking on Peanut. Peanut growled and raised his paw! This is not a nice thing to do!

So I told Peanut to go outside and play. And he asked Cleo to go too. "I'm sorry, Peanut, but Cleo has a cold and has to stay inside."

Peanut asked, "Would you come and play with me, please?"

The grass has grown up after the rain yesterday and the spring flowers are starting to bloom. The Dogwood tree has new blossoms, the Cardinals are eating the dog food from Boomer's plate, and the Blue Jays are squawking at the Cardinals.

Peanut asked, "Why don't those red birds share with the blue ones?"
