Yesterday, Roxie's sister, Perdy, went home to South Carolina and that leaves one last puppy - Daisy. Daisy was happy last night because she had ALL of the food and did not have to share her toys with Perdy. But, later she got lonely and asked me if I would hold her a while until she went to sleep. Since I was awake to feed the new puppies, I said, "Okay".

Last week, Peanut ate his supper too fast and snuffed up mashed puppy food into his nose. He started sneezing and his nose started running. I had to give him medicine for his breathing. He was very sick. But he got better in a few days.

Now Peanut eats his food slowly and doesn't get it in his nose.

Friday was his 5 week birthday and I let him spend ten minutes with his big brother, Oatmeal Cookie (we call him Oatie) and his big sister, Sugar Cookie. They had fun chasing each other around the pool and even though puppies play rough, they didn't hurt each other.

Oatie gave Peanut his little Teddy Bear to sleep with and now Peanut isn't lonely any more. Peanut has two bears now - Teddy and Freddy Bear. Peanut is getting bigger. He now weighs one and a half pounds! But, he's still a Peanut!
