This is the story of Peanut eating breakfast in bed...
It's early Sunday morning, February 16, 2003, (2:30) and Peanut is tucked into his warm bed after eating his
breakfast of milk and mashed PuppyChow with formula.
Boy! Is his tummy round!
Earlier, about midnight, Peanut got hungry and hollered for food
but I was sleeping and didn't hear him.
So he climbed up on his Freddy Bear and out of his bed and into the pool with his brother,
Oatmeal Cookie, and his sister, Sugar Cookie. Peanut wanted to play but
they were sleeping so he climbed out of their pool.
The side of the pool was high but Peanut got over by crawling up on his brother's head
and over the side.
He had never been out on the floor before and it was dark.
Peanut scampered all over the room looking for someone to play with.
He couldn't find his mother but he did find Roxie's mother, Sleepy.
By now, he was tired from his climbing and walking so he curled up next to Roxie's mother and went to sleep.

Sleepy knew that Peanut was supposed to stay in his own bed so she started barking,
"Get back to bed, little puppy!" and "Daddy! The Little Puppy is Out!" but I didn't understand.
The barking did wake me up and I came to take Sleepy out for a walk.
That's when I found Peanut sleeping next to her.
I picked Peanut up and put him back in the pool with Oatie and Sugar.
And then I got Kate, the mother dog that feeds the puppies and we all ate breakfast
and afterwards, I tucked everyone back in their beds to sleep until morning.
The next eating time is 6:00 in the morning. Maybe I should serve them Purina Puppy Pancakes...
